Help! i cant stop eating because of the pill!??

Question: im on Brenda 35 a high dose pill to help with excess hair ,acne.

BUT im sooo hungry all the timeand gaining weight!

IS this normal? will it go away? help

Answers: brenda 35ED is actually a low dose pill and yes, very popular for acne and mild hursuitism. as for weight gain/water retention, different people react differently to different pills (i actually returned to normal weight after switching to brenda). you might talk to your prescribing Dr to trial other formulations (using different levels of oestrogen and progestogen) to resolve side effects you can't live with.

there's also yasmin - the lowest does pill you can get in australia. not sure of the equivalent in your neck of the woods.
