An lady docotor.......plz read & help........female problem!!!!!!!!??

Question: my cousin is 14 yrs old,she is healthy (fit) not fat. She is good in all her activities, but she is Bed Wetter. My uncle & aunt are worried for her. They do ot know i am posting this question, but i know they need help. Please give a remedy/ something that will help both the child & the parents. I am her closest cousin among others,so if i help her then il feel happy. plz help me, help them out.
Answers: I am not a doctor, but I have heard about this, and it could be something so simple as an over-active bladder, or incontinence. Does she drink soon before her bedtime? Does she feel a lot of stress? Is she a really deep sleeper? Maybe her bladder muscles are weak, which isn't uncommon. I had issues with this (not bed wetting, but sneezing or laughing too hard) after I gave birth... There may be simple exercises that your cousin could do to strengthen those muscles down there... Have her go to a doctor and talk about it. She will find it is really not that uncommon. And it's not necessarily just a female problem, either.
Take her to a doctor..there is obviously something wrong.
There has to be a good explination. Maybe her parents should ask their family doctor.... he could put her on medication, or simply give an answer to why shes wetting the bed at such a late age. (does she drink a lot of liquid before she goes to bed?) that may be a cause too.

Good Luck!
Have her wake up in the middle of the night and go to the bathroom.
I'm not a Doc.

It would be best if she saw a doctor, just to make sure there is nothing physically wrong with her.
She should try to avoid drinking in the evenings, say after 6pm, and make sure she goes to the toilet last thing before she goes to bed. If her parents go to bed after her, her mother can wake her then and have her go to the toilet again. In the morning her mother should wake her again, as soon as she wakes up and send her to the toilet again.
You don't say if she has had this problem all her life or if it is a new thing. If it has been lifelong she may just have to learn when she needs to go. If it is a new problem it is more important that she sees a doctor.
If it is a muscle weakness your cousin will need to learn pelvic floor exercises. You can find out how to do this easily if you search online. This is something her mother could teach her as every woman should learn these exercises and do them daily.
There are diapers.....but the first sign of a lot of peeing is problems with your kidneys. Tell her to get a blood test from the doctor and an exam.
