I had a load of hay delivered today and now my eyes are sooo itchy. I need relief NOW!! Any suggestions??
Question: I take Zyrtec every night before bed. I have taken two Benadryl tonight, as well as a Claritin on top of the Zyrtec. I've been using eyedrops specifically for allergic eyes all day. I still haven't found relief, even with cold compresses! My eyes are so itchy that they keep waking me up, and I have to go to work in just a few hours!! Any suggestions for instant relief, short of going to a doctor??

Get some Soothe eye drop lubricant. ( or Visine has some lubricant drops too.) It has an oily base that helps relieve the dryness in ur eyes that help make them itch. It burns a little at first, but it helps. Recently when I went to the eye doctor for something similar, she told me that antihistamines dry ur eyes out something terrible too. So, u got a double whammy. Hope u feel better soon.
I use wet tea bags helps with swelling and itchness
yes, zaditor or alaway. both OTC, both cheap, both work awesome, both specifically designed for this exact complaint.
put cucumber on your eyes.
Over the counter Zaditor! Use it as soon as you get it and next time use it before you play with hay! Cold compresses are great too.
