Social Services don't help??
Question: Everyone is like go to social services they will help no they don't help all singles mamas i'm a single mom of 2 young babies and they don't want to help they say i make to much money and tell me this $1000 a month is to much?
Answers: I think it depends on where you live and what help you are asking for.
Sadly children's services is not for the parents who work.
Do you work?I guess they figure that you can hold a job so you can figure it out. 12k / yr. for a family of 3 is below poverty. Try for food stamps and general assistance. A completely novel idea might be to find your children's father(s) and get some support.
im a single mum of 3, two of them are teenage boys & my daughter is nearly 11.
its been a rough ride for me and my kids since their dad passed away 7 years ago, my eldest boy is nearly 16 and was crying out for help which was never available-it took him getting thrown out of school and getting in2 trouble with the police before we got him the help we needed.
i agree with u, ur asking for help but thing is, if you didnt want there help, they would soon be on your doorstep creating problems for u!
