Snoring-what's the best way to stop??
Question: No matter what position, I snore. I am in great physical health(5'9 , 195, muscular), have a deviated septum(nose), and sleep with a window wide open and a ceiling fan spinning. How do I stop snoring w/o getting surgical help? I don't take medication, and I don't drink alcohol before sleeping.
Answers: Deviated septums seem to have difficulties with snoring, a good over-the-counter remedy are the Breathe Right nose strips. If youve already tried these or they dont work, going to see a doctor might help.

I am in the sleep medicine field. Your snoring is caused by obstruction in your airway. Surgery is only about 50% successful. The only known cure for this is CPAP. Speak with your doctor and get an overnight sleep study done.
