Question: I think the most I can sleep today is 1 hour. I am in 7th grade est coast. What do I do i did not sleep well yesterday and the today. Plz help me.

P.S. I still have homework i am falling apart i don't want to get sick.
Answers: Are you at least 13? If you're not, you're not supposed to be here. You're definitely not supposed to be here if you have homework and need to sleep.
If you are losing sleep from goofing off then it is your loss—kick yourself in the butt and get busy. If you and your class mates are being overloaded have your parents speak to the principal..
why don't you try taking a break for awhile take a quick nap after all it's homework then you can just get right up and work again. I hope this helps ü
You sure didn't learn much in English class.

Have your parents call the principal and tell him or her that you are getting more homework than you can handle.
You need to learn to manage your time better.
Sometimes there is time for fun and other times you need to concentrate on your homework, I suggest you review your time management plans or if you don't have any then begin a time management plan.
Set aside enough time to accomplish your tasks then if there is any time left over, this is your free time which you should enjoy.
Remember you should budget 6 - 8 hours every day for sleep.
You are young. You shouldn't worry so much over homework. Sleep is a necessary factor that you should enjoy. Don't look at sleep as a burden. Take it when you can as much as you can. Your life should come first...
Last night was Sunday so it seems likely that you put off doing homework assignments from Friday night til Sunday. In the future, if you have homework over the weekend, try to get it done on Friday or Saturday at the latest. Reserve Sunday as a day of rest or as a day to finish up on some left over homework. Waiting til Sunday night to start doing your homework is a recipe for disaster as you have seen. Time management is very important. All of us have to get a lot of work done in a minimum amount of time.
ok so you have a lot of home work to do.It seemed that you have piled alot of homework.Plan your day so that it is balanced and you also have time to play.Donot pile homework or postpone for tommorow and you will see ur day is going well you won't have to sacrifice your sleep.Planning is very necessary
You are not saying why you are not sleeping. If it is just an inability to sleep...insomnia...that is kind of unusual for someone your age....are you worrying about your schoolwork, etc. and that is keeping you awake? Are you going to bed too late....are you drinking coffee...or drinking too much caffeine...that will keep you from sleeping....are you on any medications that might affect your sleep...like benidril, etc..

Can you just stay home one day and catch up on your sleep?
Being too tired is not being well...will your Mom let you have a day to catch up? But then, don't waste it....really use it ...and then make up the work you miss.

Something is causing this. What is it? If you need to, check with a doctor to help you figure it out.

Also...we all have sleep patterns. Some people sleep the hardest when they first go to bed...others just before they get up....I can't miss from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. or I am tired all day....with a little checking, you can figure out what sleeping makes you feel best all day. But most kids your age need at least a good 8 hours or 8 to 10 hours....but you do have parents don't you? You need to seriously let them know you are worried about this....then be willing to listen to their advice.

You need to solve this problem, not fall apart over it. Believe me, this is not the worst problem you will ever have. Work at school can be made up....so talk to someone about it....your Mom or Dad...or your care-giver, or a counselor at school?
Your probablly get a huge work load but not to the extreme where your forced to one- two hours of sleep. I think the real problem is your time management. Are you putting things to the last moment? Plan things in advance, do your homework when you have nothing thing to do,or squeeze out some other activities. If its too hard you should do your work with a friend or go to a homework center.
see what parts of your homework you can get away with NOT doing. or if you have a really good grade in one class-- skip that assignment, because it wont affect your grade that much. do the most important stuff, then go to bed. get at least 4-5 hours of sleep tonight.

when you have tons of homework like this, take a nap when you get home from school until supper, then after you wake up, you eat, and you're ready for homework until a normal-timed bedtime!
Take a day off. No really. Be sick for a day and recharge. Maybe your hw is taking so long because you're in no shape to be doing it. Be sick for a day and enjoy it. When you're well again go back to school with energy and things will be easier.
No matter the reason for your homework not being done, learn from your mistake. Learn to manage your time better in the future. As for what you do now that is a decision you must make on your own. Life is full of tough decisions. Choice wisely and take responsibility for the repercussions of that choice. That is the only advice i have to give.
