Question: im just wondering, cuz its been 16 days after the ACL reconstruction surgery, and i see a string in my knee cap. are they suppose to take it out? or does it dissolve. please help me.

Answers: question for your dr,,,if they used dissolvable stitiches then yes they will dissovle, if not you need to have them out. be warned there are some people that they DO NOT dissolve. my mother had this problem and my daughter did also. i would give a call to your dr. i assume you have a post-op appt?
