How long should it take to get of 65ml of methadone??
Question: i have been on methadone for three years at least and have only droped ten milligrames i feel like im on a road to nowhere.my emotions are alover and im starting to get violent will this ever end? i dont think i can take much more of this lifestyle.im also never on one level im either up or down but my key worker keeps saying its ok your stable dont worrie i cant take much more of this any help appreciated thanks
Answers: I was on for almost ten years and was so desperate to find a way out that I finally found a way out of hell.
It is called Subutex. It can get you off of methadone that day with not one with drawl symptom. Especially if you want off of it, you wont miss it at all.
I was promised that if I went off my medication for a full day, I would get subutex. Promised that after 29 minutes after taking two 8 mg tablets, I would feel not one with drawl symptom and they were right.
that first day I took one 8 mg tablet, waited 15 minutes to check for and bad results and had none so I was given the second 8 mg tablet and with 5 more minutes, I was fine.
Now I take one 8 mg tablet 3 times a day . I have no with drawl symptoms, no bathroom problems, no sleep problems, good appetite and it doesn't get you buzzed in the slightest.
I prayed for there to be a magic pill to take to get me out of my hell and it did come.
Only certain doctors can give it to you. It is a partial agonist that works the same as methadone (full agonist) except it doesn't fill the whole opiate receptor, just partially and that makes all the difference. It is supposed to be easy to wean off of slowly.
I ha vent worried about doing that yet, I am okay taking 3 -8 mg pills a day instead of all the poison I was taking day and night.
This is a miracle, pleas look into it. Any rehab doctor or place will have this now. I got mine through my pain management doctor because it does also act for severe pain.
I don't know. I've never taken it. But I spoke to previous heroin addicts. They said that they managed to get off heroin to methadone but that it is very difficult to get off methadone and they couldn't.
when i was on it ... i found out i was pregnant went cold turkey OB said no way .. the day i had my son i called them and had a doctor advise me .. he put me on suboxone ... mix or naltrexon and something else ... i took that for about 3 months weaning off ... almost 4 years later im still clean and sober .. even at low does methodone detox just as bad as getting off herion ... same sickness .... good luck!
