Persistant pins and needles in feet... comes on a couple of times a day??
Question: can someone help me as to what this could be
at the moment it is in my left leg... i had broken my leg about 10 years ago..but its only recent, like the last few months.. and i am getting it from just sitting down or lying down, sometimes when i walk as well...what could it be?!? sometimes its in my fingers as well..
Answers: It is the constriction of your sciatica nerve. Most likely from the misalignment of your spine or possibly hip causing a bone to compress the nerve. This then cuts off (not a medical term..lol) the signals going through the nerve to the foot.
Look up sciatica nerve and you'll see where it is and it runs right down your legs to your feet.
Chances are you could go to a chiropractor and the can re-align your spine to re-leave the pressure on the nerve.
Do you have any spinal compressions or back problems?
Don't know your age, weight, etc. However, this could be a sign of early neuropathy, which could be a sign of diabetes, or it could just be too many birthdays! I'd get a blood test and a check up just to make sure. good luck. peace
hmmm i would go see your GP about that, i would imagine its probably related to ur broken leg, pins n needles is caused by lack of blood e.g when u sleep on ur hand or arm and u wake up its tingling. if your not getting consistent blood flow to ur leg tehre must be an underlying problem but as i say its something u shud definitly see a doctor about
go to a neurologist to make sure you don't have MS or something
Possibly a symptom of diabetes.
If it is a circulation problem blood thinners might help and these include garlic and fish oil.
