Undiagnosed Pancreastitis??
Question: My godness a long story to go into , but I have been in and out of hosp dealing with stomach issues. Cat scan , Scope , x~rays, Ultra sounds, uncountable blood work and all that has come up is abnormal pan enymes in the blood.
I need to know what foods are oK for me to eat. I was on IV , fluids in the hosp. Im starving and dont want to trigger my belly with foods , HELP PLEASE
I do see a specialist as soon as I can make the appointment monday.
I can NOT use Busopan for pain as I am allergic.
Answers: Eat foods low in sugar and complex carbohydrates.
Didn't the hospital give you an after-care plan when you were discharged??? They certainly should have. If you haven't been eating you should probably start out with clear liquids(gatorade, sprite, etc), then move to other liquids, then to soft foods (yogurt, jello, pudding, etc) and then move your way up depending on how it makes you feel. However, you may want to place a call to your dr's office for their advice so that you don't end up back in the hospital. You can probably even call the hospital and let them know your concern.
