I've been crying and laughing at the same time. What is that??
Question: I think there is a syndrome, possibly common in M.S. but I've been MRI'd twice, negative, and a spinal tap, negative for M.S. I am taking Effexor for 2 years now. Recently drove from N.B. to A.B. and having terrible nerves. My boyfriend is very concerned and I agree to get help but looking for your input,pls.
Answers: Well, I have the same problem when I am having a manic episode. I have Bipolar Disorder I. So you say, you are taking effexor...If I took that alone, then I would get mania causing that exact problem. You may want to look into that. Just search Bipolar disorder or Mania symptoms...The information on those things should give you a good guide line on all the symptoms. So are you on Effexor for depression, ADD, or an anxiety disorder? Also did an internal medicine doctor prescribe this to you? I was misdiagnosed with clinical depression the first 4 times I was seen by regular physicians..Sorry if the information I'm writing is a bit jumbled. I'm having a manic episode at the moment lol..My head jumps around different thoughts to fast. If you do think you have reason to see a psychiatrist after looking that up, know that you never have to agree on things they suggest. You do have a choice! Side effects can suck and you shouldn't put up with ones you CAN avoid. There are a lot of medications out there. I suggest finding a psyche (if u need one) that will work with you to help you get better. Not one that just wants to cram pills down your throat and get to the next patient.
