Kidney Failure??
Question: I just reacently found out that my kidneys are failling. I have been told that I might need dialisis. What should I expect. Are there any major problems I should be concerened about. Any information will help.
Answers: kidneys are basically the filter of the body, the filter blood , urine, etc, also, if your kidney fails your blood pressure gets real high..... and if they stop working then that's when dialisis comes into play. usually they will give u dialisis 3 days a wk, but before that they will have to make a fistula on your arm, a fistula is an opening on your arm, like a valve, so that u will not have a problem with dialisis, you can lastl like this for a long time, but eventually they will have to give you a kidney transplant , because theres only so much a dialisis machine can do. the only problem that you're probably going to have is changing the way you eat, u really can't have a high protein diet, since it's real hard for it to pass through your kidneys. I really hope this info helped. I have been in contact with many dialisis patients and they do just fine. goodluck

You cannot get a diagnosis online and you shouldn't trust one if it were offered. If you don't believe your doctor, get a second opinion and accept it.

Check with your physician, if you have one. It may be related to anxiety, or it may not. I'd say that any time something changes and does not go away, it's always safest to check with a professional.
