Kidney cysts??
Question: Last month i was in extreme pain i threw up and had a low grade fever. the only thing that would help me is a heating pad on my lower back. anyways the next day i went to see the dr. and they found blood in my urine. they ordered a ct scan and they found a cysts on my kidney. i was in pain for almost four days and they pain hasn't come back. does anyone out there know anything about cysts and if it could come back? lizzie
Answers: You will probably always have cysts on your kidneys, but MOST of the time it is absolutely nothing to worry about. They are usually something you are born with or they can occur if you have UTIs (bladder infections) a lot. Don't agonize over it.
(Just in case you are doing research, there is a serious heritable condition called polycystic kidney disease which is not what you have)
