A quick fix for GOUT?!??
Question: Seeing as the doctors is closed,is there anything to help with the pain in the meantime?
Answers: Don't take aspirin- it makes it worse. Use paracetamol, or a paracetamol plus (cocodamol etc.) or if you can get hold of any get some voltarol (diclofenac)- you will need to find someone with a prescription for it for other aches and pains as it is prescription only.
It might be worth seeing a pharmacist who might be able to Rx Voltarol over the counter for gout.
do not take aspirin. Take tylenol. But not if you've been drinking!
Quit drinking booze, start drinking water, elevate the affected appendage and put a heating pad on it.
Eat Cherries and plenty of them...gout is history
If you're taking anything for cholesterol, stop for a couple days.

looks like it says ibuprofen, not aspirin
and prep. H
There's no quick fix as it's too much urea in your blood that crystallises out into your joints. The best thing is to drink more than usual. That will dilute the urea so ease the pain.
Try a tablespoon of apple vinger an about a little over a 1/2 glass of cranberry juice drink a couple of times a day and see if that will help. It may take a couple of day's. I hope this helps. It does teste bad but I have know that it has work.
bing cherries are good for gout !
Drink lots of water to flush it out. Alcohol can precipitate an attack so stop drinking (or at least cut it down a lot). Pain killers like paracetamol, diclofenac and ibuprofen (if no stomach problems such as ulcers and no asthma) will help.
