I really need help losing weight.??


Question: I am 14 years old and weigh almost 240 pounds. I was really tiny when I was younger but I have started gaining a lot of weight over the past few years. I want this more than anything, but I just can't get motivated to exercise. I usually drink 4-6 cans of Mountain Dew per day, and eat constantly. As of 2 weeks ago though, I haven't had any soda, but I'm still eating McDonald's and Pizza almost everyday. Everyone in my family is stick-thin and can eat anything they want. I am despret to be healthy. I am at high risk for diabetes and heart problems and my life may be on the line. If anybody with experience knows how I can lose weight healthily, I would appreciate it more than you could ever imagine.
Answers: low fat food greens and fruit u wont be hungry, eat 6 times a day, exercise a bit like 15 minutes of walking and watch yourself melt away.
The best way to lose weight healthy is exercise and eat balanced meal. Cut down jucy burgers and french fries and try to eat more white meat, vegitables, and drink lots of water. When you are hungry, go for salada first to make yourself confortably full, then eat main dish (less carbo though). And what I heard from my friend was putting mirrors around you. In that way, you can see yourself eating non healthy meal, which could help you recognise how you've been eating and lead yourself to better way of eating. In anyways, excersise has to come along with diet. Try to push youself excersise, once you could see your weight drop even a bit, it will give you motivation to do better diet. But be careful not to overdo it!

Don't eat anything that has a lot of sugar, drink 100% fruit juice instead of mountain dew or any other sodas. Eat small amounts of food each meal don't skip cause it will make you hungry and you will eat more. Don't eat a lot of junk food like chips and cookies. Try cooking for yourself. Don't eat out at places like MD's.
Eat the foods you love and still lose weight. Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar before a meal. You eat because you are looking for vitamins and minerals. ACV has 93 of them. I used to be a late night eater, but now I am not hungry. Works for me and I know it will for you too. Hair and nails will grow and will also cure acne. Give it a try for at least a month. Food will not be on your mind so much.

it is the most difficult problem to lose wight, if we put in our mind that we will not eat what we want, but i have some ideas

1) walk, walk and walk, do everything be yourself, even if answering the phone or open doors

2) try to reduce amount of food which you eat now, and don't cut it at all, eat McDonald's and Pizza there is no problem its a kind of our food, but try to eat less than what you doing now.

3) drunk juice with ice, drunk enough water, try to love any kind of sport.

4) pimp yourself by eating any kind of food you love it every weekend, and eat as much as you want, but next day go back to your diet.

you will lose your wight slowly slowly but you'll see the result really supportive.
first off dont give up and get discouraged it will take time and work. your doing good by stopping soda, eliminate soda, only drink water, and juices like gatorade and orange juice apple juice etc, then you HAVE to eliminate fast food of any kind. eat at home make your own meals if you have to, make your mom drive you to the store and get the foods you want: veggies, chicken, fish, but mostly veggies and fish and not fried has to be in the oven. steam the veggies, and of course start exercising. go to a gym and talk to a trainer and get a program that works for you. I would reccommend to start off by walking, and then upgrading to jogging and situps etc. but your diets has to change. For one thing, alot of teens go through this, when I was 12, I was 190 pounds, a year and a half later I was 128. It will come off, don't lose hope. One thing is to stop eating fast food. I know, this is hard, because Fast food is actually an addiction like nicotine. Eat only when you are hungry. Portion Control..... measure out what you are eating. Drink alot of water. Alot. Go on walks, then move up to jogging. Have your parents take you to see a doc, to find out what kind of regemin you can do, who knows, this could be a glandular problem, that has an easy fix. ok well first. drop the crappy food. eat some salads. but not from mcdonalds. get some lettuce and make yourself a nice low fat meal. and stay fit, go workout. i come from a family of basically sticks too. but i fall under that catagory and i keep myself in it by eating good with the occasional junkfood and by working out. i play sports and work my butt off im p.e. so just eat good and exercise. thats all i really have to say. its not really alot but im 12 so give me a break thats the best i can do. good luck.

Start by saying no to the foods you know make you gain.Then change your eating habits by eating five small meals a day . drink lots of good water,and go for 45 minuet walks 3 times a week. Brisk walks with no rest for at least one half hour.Be strict on yourself. lastly give yourself a break.

well i think it will not be much difficult for you to loose your weight.
A person who is overweight since birth will have to face a lot of difficulties to loose his/her weight. But in your case, it is much easier as your body was accustomed to low weight for major part of your life.
Let me explain you-- Human body gains weight when and only when body gets much energy than what it could spend.
so if you try to give it less energy than what it uses, your body will have no other option but to looe weight.
As far as your diet is concerned, dont reduce it suddenly but keep on eating lesser quanitiy of food.
But most of all, you should generate your interst in exercise. If you feel a typical exercise boring, you can do other types of exercises and that should be continues
I promise you my friend, it will help you loose your weight within 1 month or so.
dont worry about diabetes or any other problems because to be healthy you must think healthier.

Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.

Okay first of all, You have to stop eating pizza and McDonald's every day and you definitely can't drink pop. The only way that you can lose weight is to start eating healthy. No more take out or junk food. Drink tons and tons of water. Exercise regularly and you should lose weight in no time. I did.

Thats a HUGE step you took by stopping the soda. After a month you quit soda and you taste a little soda again it aint gonna taste the same to you (trust me).Drink a glass of water b4 eating.. EAT YOUR FOOD SLOWW. THAT HELPS ALOT!..And also DRINK GREEN TEA!!it is GOOD for you and it helps losing weight!! If your hungry again eat fruits (bananas is high in fiber)a bowl of cereal Milk=LOWFAT 2% 1%.(2% is good) Special K , honey bunches of oats ,'banana crunch is slammin an it has wheats and oats and it dont taste too much diety..When your hungry pick up a good book and read 50pages of it.. while chewing gum..or do your nails so you wont be able to touch any food.. and have a hobby because people that get fat is more likely bored.. You dont wanna eat white bread because alot of bread,rice(only brown rice),pasta has starch.. so starch turns to surgar and surgar turns to fat..But also your eligible to go thru the lap-band.. Change your diet.....immediately. Period.

You need to start eating more healthful foods. Raw vegatables, lean meat, lighter carbs. Pizza and Mcdonalds should be rarely if ever eaten. Soda is bad to, you should replace it with water as much as possible. You will get used to it over time, but it is hard to kick the sugar and caffiene habit completely.

Exercise is something you will never do without the self motivation and that is a matter of willpower at first. Once you get into a routine it is much easier to keep up.

Best thing to do is curb the fast food! Weight watchers suggest lean cuisines or smart one's (frozen entrees) it's a good place to start anyway. One for lunch , one for dinner, cereal for breakfast. Sensible snacks such as fruits and vegetables. Try to do at least 30 min. of cardio a day. (walking, running, swimming) you'll be surprised how quick weight will come off with just those few simple things!

i tried this diet myself and i assure you! it works! i shed a lot of pounds.but as with any diet, you should learn to discipline yourself. you can ask someone to try this diet along with you so that you can motivate one another to keep going!
