Im eating a lot more than usual??
Question: im eating more than usual. and drinking. an lot. io seem to not get full that easy. im already a type 1 diabetic, so dont tell me that i may have diabetes.
Answers: Pregnant? Tapeworm infection? Go to your doctor and have a checkup.
If you are eating and drinking enough to sustain your body, you do not have to get full . Usually full means you ate too much.
Rule of thumb: At each meal eat protein about the size and thickness of the palm of your hand. Eat 2 cups of carbohydrates one high glycemic (get a glycemic index) and one low glycemic. If you are trying to lose weight, make them both low glycemic. Either cook the food in a good fat (olive oil is considered the best) or water. If water, then eat nuts - almonds or peanuts as snacks.
Since you are already diabetic, eat the same stuff as above but about 1/3rd the size as in-between meal snacks.
Don't forget, you should be drinking about 64 oz of water a day (approximately 2 liters), in addition to this.
Hope this helps answer your question.
You'd know it if you had it. If you're a lady, one possibility is pregnancy. But man or girl, a a possibilty is depression.
how old are you? you may be growing.
Your body has a tendency to tell you what it needs. Are you craving/eating certain things... protein, certain fruits or veggies? If yes, your body may be signalling some kind of vitamin or nutrient deficiency.
Alternatively, have you been eating or craving a lot of sweet things, ice cream, candy, baked goods, breads, chips, crackers, pastas? If yes, you have probably become addicted to sugar and high glycemic carbs, because eating those substances can definitely trigger craving for more.
In either case, a checkup with your doctor would be wise, especially with a history of diabetes. Perhaps your treatment just needs to be adjusted a little bit. But I'll bet that if you keep a journal of what you are eating for a week or two, you will see a pattern that will help you figure out what is going on.
You know what? I have been too. I can't get enough especially junk food. I think I may be getting ready to start my period. I hope that's what it is. Look at your calender and see if that could possibly be it.
Maybe you are eating for two (If you are a women) Or you have tapeworms. What you need to do is see a physician.
u r a sweet girl u must go to the doctor
Depressed? Pregnant? Tapeworm?
Sounds like your blood sugar is spiking, and then lowering. The thirst is caused by high blood sugar, and the hunger is caused by low blood sugar. Are you controlling by testing your blood sugar often? Slow down when you eat, and if you changed your diet, try more high volume foods like veggies.
My mother has type 2 diabetes, and she says that potassium helps in regulating sugar, like eating a bannana. Also, try some cinnamon, which lowers blood sugar.
hope this helps.
P.S. You can still bleed and have something like a period, and be pregnant.
