I'm planning to go on dieting to loose weight. Should I stop intake of sugar and any product having sugar??
Question: I thought only people who are suffering from diabetes or Sugar should I avoid having sugar. But now I read everywhere that people who plan to loose weight have to avoid sugar. Why is it so? Does sugar have lot of calories? Does that mean for people who have less likelihood of having diabetes also should avoid sugar or is it only for people having diabetes or for whom there is probability of getting diabetes? In short does sugar play any role in weight gain? It would be nice if some one can give details

1) I Run 22 Miles A Week(Mon-Fri).But 4 Starters I Might Want To Recommend 2 Miles A Day & U Might Want 2 Walk Fast Or Jog & Take It Easy.But I Do 4.4 Miles A Day
2) I Do Crunches & Pushups.Boyz U Will See An Improvement In Your Chest & Arms & Ladies Will See An Improvement An Your Arms.
3) I Drink A Lot More Water.
4) Now I Can See My Abs Coming In
5) If All That Doesn't Work Get LL Cool J's Platinum Workout Book.It's Very Recomendable If U stick To It.It's Sure To Work.It Includes Good Ways On How To Diet,Stay Motivated, & Bronze,Silver,Platinum, & Diamond Levels To Workouts On(Depending On what Type Of Shape Your In)
But If U Stick To My Plan That's Also Sure To Work
6)Also U Shouldn't eat Anything Fried,With Sugar Or Red Meat(Such As Cheeseburgers/Beef Or Steak
Sugar sux! Especially White sugar. If its the added sweetness you need use honey...and don't mess with aspartame.
Sugar plays a role in weight gain. I cant explain it scientifically but Put it this way, I've listened to some trainers on here who said pop was bad when trying to loose weight...so i stopped drinking pop and drink 2L of water and i've already lost 24Lbs.

only reducing sugar wont help u because after u take sugar it is metabolised 2 fructose and glucose which are energy giving molecules and they are not going to build your body ,the main body building substances are proteins and fatty substances so one who wants to lose weight must control these things, remember u rgoing 2 take sugar only as added substance to your main foods which are rich in proteins and fatty substances so less protein and fat with minimal exercise will reduce your weight
don't avoid it completly, you can still have some daily, and eat things with a lot of sugar in moderation, like once a week or something.
Depends on your weight. DO not stop altogether. Reduce as much as you can. You have to also cut down on other things like oil and potatoes, junk food etc....
I have been reducing the sugar in my diet for years. Sugar ruins the balance of insulin and glucagon which ruins the balance of the body's metabolism. Do you realize the alarming rate that diabetes is growing in this country? Obesity is a symptom of diabets. Yet, people don't really know what sugar is. I don't know how many times people have told me that they watch their sugar but they eat pasta, rice, bread etc. My mother, a diabetic, even says this. The reason I point this out is, duh, that pasta, rice,potatoes are all sugar. If you eat a slice of bread and your body puts it in the category of sugar when it enters the bloodstream, it IS sugar. The right balance of sugar is quite okay. The problem with sugar is we eat toooo much of it. Improper sugar balance causes fat storage and we know what fat storage causes. In all reality, we could live a happy life without a drop of bread, candy, cake, potato etc as long as we eat a healthy amount of protein. Protein is another glucose supplier, that when glucose is need, protein can provide it in a process called glucogenisis, which takes place in the liver. I my humble opinion, I feel that our love affair with sugar is more hurtful than bacon grease.
In conclusion, anyone who has insulin in their bodies improves their chances to lose weight by watching sugar. We should all educate ourselves on what defines sugar and be proactive.
Sugar is the cause for a lot of stuff and weight gain is one. I garauntee you if stop your intake of sugar you will lose 5 lbs the first week. yes it has a lot of calories. everyone should avoid sugar under all circumstances no matter because it isnt good for us
hi there! if u really want to loose ur weight then skip ur night meals....beleive me, it really halps...infact it helepd my sis in losing weight. and also try out this.....
Take one glass of warm water add little i mean 4-5 drops of lemon and one tea spoon of honey, take every morning without eating or drinking anything, it will also help in losing weight and it also improves ur complexion.

CUt out carbs too cuz they turn into surgar
