Do obese people often have numbness in their feet, which is not at all connected to Type 2 Diabetes??

Answers: Numbness in feet is usually from Peripheral Vascular Disease. It means that the blood flood to the feet is not sufficient. It does not necessarily have to do with Diabetes either.
I am considered obese and do not have numbness in my feet, but I don't have diabetes. My mom has diabetes, has problems with her feet, but doesn't get numbness.
Well, I don't think so, probaly not.
i get numbess even thought am not fat
Yes, I get that when I am sitting down for a long periods of time.
I am very obese at 620 plus and over the last 10 years added 400 pounds but never have had issues with numbness in my feet. I may not see my feet when I stand but I certainly can feel them.
