How long will my filllings be sensitive to anything cold...got em yesterday??
Answers: It is normal for teeth to remain sensitive for up to a week or so. If it is getting slowely better it is alright, if it is getting better then it is not alright. Sometimes just the process of drilling on a tooth can cause a tooth to react badly and could result in the tooth needing additional treatment. Give it a week and if it is not better have the dentist check your bite to make sure it is not high.
a while
They can be for a couple months. Depends on how deep and if there were any bases put in to help against sensitivity.
You wont even know you have them in two days
ditto to the first answer
It may take awhile. I'd give them a week as long as they don't get worse! If the pain is really bad, then call. If you can live with it, give it a week or two and then see how it is. But yeah, it does take a little while.
If it doesn't get better after a length of time, you may need a root canal. It's not that bad. Just be careful of how much gas they give you, it can get so good it's scary! lol
Yeah that happened to me too...was on the side I chew on the most too -- it lasted about2 weeks -- bugged me so much I used toothpaste with a de-sensitizer -- like Sensodyne
Probably all your life. But it should get easier everyday. More bareable.
Usually just a day or so...if it stays that way, then call your dentist.
not to long really if its more then a week call doc
