How do you get rid of sores at corner of mouth? It's not cold sores.??

Answers: This may be a form of the herpes simplex virus, but is more likely angular chelitis which is a type of candiasis fungal infection. It is caused often in patients wearing dentures where the corner of the mouth gathers saliva which invites a fungal infection. You treat with a fungal gel such as nystatin.
definately don't put vasaline there for a fungal infection! and also listerine is alcohol based and unsuitable!
Try abreva it is usually in with the chap stick. It is pretty expensive but it works great.
I get them too, usually in the winter. I have been told it is a vitamin deficiency. Whatever the cause, carmex has worked for me--just make sure you put it on and leave the area alone so you can allow it to heal. Also, taking a multivitamin can't hurt --get better soon :)
yuck sounds like herpes!!!!!
carmax.....you buy it at the drug store
YOU NEED VITAMIN C. I BET YOU DON'T GET VEGETABLES
Those are wierd, I have them too. Try vaseline or put chapstick on it. It worked for me.
I just use listerine and it eventually will kill the germs and go away. if you have pain there i use the kind of thing and it numbs it
Use carmex it really works
I think those are caused by eating or drinking too much acidic food, like orange juice.
blistex works pretty good.

ps: herpes, chancre sores and cold sores are all the same family.

pss: if you use something like listerine you will burn the crap outta yourself and you WILL NOT be happy
If it's not cold sores, you should get that checked out. It could be something bad, like an STD (not saying it is) or an infection of some sort. You may need a prescription.
