Answers: I get these a lot. Abreva doesn't help as much as just using some campho phenique. It comes in a green bottle at the pharmacy with a yellow label. Just ask someone and they can help you find it. Dab some on with a Q-tip. It should be gone in only one or two days.
Carmex works wonders!!!! Most pharmacies carry it.
Yeah I understand completely, I get them too. It's hard to get rid of them fast, but I would try Abreva. It works pretty fast. And also don't touch or mess with except for putting the stuff on it. Also use carmex on top of that
The best thing for cold sore treatment is Acyclovir or Zovirax. It is an anti-viral cream that you put on the cold sore when you first feel the tingling or burning sensation. You will hardly get any kind of blister or ulcer if you start using this quickly enough. You will need a dentist or doctor to prescribe it for you.

use toothpaste its an old fashioned trick that actually works.
I always find a little drop of perfume or after shave gets rid of them pretty quick. It dries them up and they go away faster.
