I have something like a cold sore on the inside of my lip, and it hirts. How can i get rid of it??
Answers: It could be a number of things. You should go to a medical doctor to get it checked out. Things to note are: How long have you had it? Have you had it before? Does it hurt? Is it fluid filled? Is it getting worse? Can you associate it with anything like biting your lip or tobacco use?
It is a canker sore and you can try rinsing with mouthwash or pick up some ointment for canker sores at your drug or department store.
i used to get them all the time. my dentist said to gargle salt water 2 times a day (i know, it's a lot, i only did it when it hurt) there's also medicine called zilactin-b and it works really well, it numbs it so it doesn't hurt and then helps it heal. (it stings for about 2 seconds though) also, my dentist said if you make sure you brush your gums, you won't get them
try blistex, more effective than the chapstick brand. i'd go for the ointment type, it really relieves soreness on the lips.
Lysine, from the health food store.. is a great help, while I worked at the Health food store, several Doctors sent patients in for Lysine. It is relatively cheap, around 6.00.
use listerine
They make medicine for it - it starts with a Z but I saw it in the pharmacy section. It taste nasty but it really affective. And remember to keep your tongue away from it, it will make it worse.
probably a canker sore. I get them all the time, and the hurt like heck. There's something out called abthesol thats supposed to get rid of them in 3 days, you get it from your dentist. Other than that, i'll use ora-gel to numb them, but nothing will make them go away faster. takes a week or two...for me at least.
Bamma say major surgery. Bamma say snip and tuck. Bamma say no biggie. Bamma say miracle of modern science. Bamma say best thing. Bamma say swish around salt water. Bamma say wifes tail told him. Bamma not medical doctor in many countries. Bamma otta know.
Rinsing ur mouth with water after eat/drinking to help it heal faster. Also Colgate Peroxyl Antiseptic Oral Cleanser is good whenever I get one. Helps heal faster. And doesn't burn like Listerine.
