I have had a bad cold for a week, now i have been getting tooth ache and earache, is it my wisdon tooth??
Answers: It could be your sinuses on that one side. Heat a bowl of water with either eucalyptus oil or Vick's salve in the microwave until very hot. Steam your face for as long as you can stand it. If that doesn't start to relieve it, take an expectorant like robittusin to dry up the mucus. Then call your doctor because you may have a bacterial infection. Hope you feel better! *-*
its just the aches and pains take some aspirin and garlge your throat with Listerine and sleep.
No it may not be your wisdom tooth, some times colds can travel through your system and end up giving you a tooth ache and a bit of earache. Best thing to do, is get to your bed with a hot water bottle and sweat it out, get some rest this is the best thing for it. Sorry =)
ive had this for the past two days pains in both lower wisdoms now i have the flu :( get yourself to the gp
it sounds like an ear infection to me there have been a lot of ear infections going around this year. go to the doctor and if it is ruled out then see a dentist.
after having a bad cold many people get ear and tooth ache this is caused by neuralgia its like a cold in your face and can be really painful
could be, you need to go to the doctors
sounds like you got an infection that needs antibiotics.go docs to see if it is infection
The earache (otalgia) can also be an effect of a cold. The toothache may or may not be a separate issue. Now why would you ask if it's your wisdom tooth???? How would WE know which tooth it is? You haven't told us. Deal with the cold and pain symptoms then when the cold is gone, you'll know if you have dental problems.
if your worried go & see your dentist
but sometimes when you have a cold you can start having problems with your sinus's & can even make your teeth sensitive
You could just have a cold that's travelled around your head, because you can get colds in your ears, or whatever the medical term is. Anyway, you should go see a doctor really, if only to see if you need some medicine of some sort. That way, you wont feel worse for visiting, you might get medication to help you, and if it is something worse, then you'll find out.
The earache is probably related to a blocked eusacian tube from the throat to the ear, could be connected to pain in mouth. Go to doctor, friend of mine has had a virus that affected her ears and she got bad earache following a bad cold and couldn't hear well.
The upper molar teeth sit in close proximation to the sinus so when you have a cold which effects the sinus it can make your teeth feel sensitive for up to a month after your cold symptoms go away, tooth ache can also affect the ear but is unlikely to be associated with the cold.
I've just got over mine. I had earache which caused the toothache
Anyone ever had a GOOD cold.?
I had the same thing for about 7-8 weeks. I DID go to the doctor twice (Different men) and they contridicted eachother. I took cough meds and antibiotics and THEN got the earache. I couldn't afford more meds so I dropped a couple of drops of Hydrogen Puroxdide into each ear (use a straw) letting each ear bubble up before 'dumping the ear' It is always the fastest eay for me to eliminate ear problems. Good luck. REST and drink clear liquids and invest in the GOOD tissues.

As with many other foods and drinks, the tannins in tea can cause some staining however as long as teeth are brushed regularly, all trace of stains will be removed.
