My teeth has this really weird feeling it feels like throbbing and sometimes drilling and cold??
Question: The pain was on and off but know it hurts
it first happened when i got my braces
and it only a few teeth
Answers: Hi! This is common after braces for about 3-6 months. It is differerent in everyone. JUST make sure you wear that retainer no matter what.
When the teeth are pulled into place, there is presssure on the bone and new bone has to fill in it's place. Also the roots are pulled and the nerves is the jaw at the root tip can be traumatized as well. This will all go away in time. Your teeth need more time to settle in and you may just be more sensitive than others. It is common if you had a lot of movement. So dont worry. As long the Ortho checked for cavities after and you maintain great oral hygien, you will be fine. M
Normal when you have braces on. Take an advil or aleve to help w/ the pain. Your teeth are being forced to move to a new position. There are tons of nerves being forced to move. I know how painful it can be, I wore braces for almost 2 years. Just think about how pretty your teeth are going to be once you are done w/ braces.
braces cause food to be trapped, in 3 months i got 5 cavities, so get a electronic toothbrush they work wonders, because normal toothbrushes cant get inside the braces, the fine electronic ones can, and be sure to use a SMALL, BUT hard brushhead,
Hey, my teeth feel this way, too. I got my top braces taken off a few months ago.
I agree with Marie D. She's a professional.
