My gums have got spongy and my teeth have so sensitive of anything cold / sweet / hot. What do I do??
Question: The gums bleed while burshing in the morning.
Answers: I am going to say it is gingivitis that is causing your bleeding gums.Gingivitis is the inflammation or infection of the gums caused by buildup. There are two kinds of buildup, (#1) soft sticky plaque which turns into (#2) tartar that is hard like cement. If you haven't had a cleaning you should see a dentist or hygienist for a checkup, xrays (if needed) and a cleaning. During the cleaning the plaque and tartar will be removed. Although you can remove plaque at home by flossing and with brushing 2-3 times a day the tartar cannot be removed because it is too hard and often inaccessible. You must get rid of this infection or it can evolve into periodontal disease, which is when the bone surrounding your teeth begins to breakdown. This disease leads to chronic bad breath, cavities and eventually loss of teeth. Dental (mouth) health is directly related to a healthy body.
As for your sensitivity you may have some recession where the roots of your teeth are exposed due to hard brushing, tooth placement, periodontal (bone) disease or you may just be sensitive to the whitening or tartar control components of the tooth paste you are using. Try using only senstivite tooth toothpaste for a month and see if that does the trick. It plugs up the nooks and crannies on the root surfaces to reduce hot and cold sensitivity.
Good luck!
JAMRDH - a dental hygienist
take a half piece for lime
add mustard oil and salt
apply on your gums slowly
also take fitkari(which common peoples use after shave) add in hot water and add some salt do garare 2 times a day after 3 days your teeth will be best
avoid sugar and mithi cheezein for some times
apply salt n brush up ur teeth.
You have gingivitis an chemical erosion of your teeth. You need to see your dentist asap. For the gingivitis rinse with strong salt water ( that's whats causing the bleeding gums) And the sesitive teeth can be made less painful by applying tooth paste with a high flouride content on then and leaving it there for as long as possible. But go and see your dentist really. This will only get worse
Meet your dentist immediately. Apart from that u can use tooth pastes like Cavisan available on any medical store.
see a dentist immediatly
It's prob gingivitis or another form of gum disease. See a dentist to be sure. If you ignore it, it can progress. Healthy gums do not bleed. Best to check and get a good cleaning. Good luck!
