Does frequent consumption of panadol cold leads to liver failure or other illness??
Question: i have a sensitive nose, and catches a flu every now and then. so i do take panadol cold quite frequently.is it bad? i take one at a time and no more than two in a single day.
Answers: Couple of things to think about:
Cold medications are for COLDS unless they include flu on the label. So taking Panadol Cold for the flu won't help you at all.
Try working out the underlying reason you catch something (the flu has nothing to do with a sensitive nose, you may be catching a cold or sinus infection). Maybe you need to strengthen your immune system so you don't keep catching whatever-it-is.
I haven't had a cold or the flu in over 2 years, I take a good multivitamin/mineral and extra vitamin C every day.
And yes, cold medications (in fact any kind of synthetic medication or drug) can cause problems such as liver problems, kidney problems, heart problems, irritated stomach and/or digestive tract, and a whole host of conditions over time.
It can. And it's an anticoagulant too. Flu is not a nose problem and self medicating when you get something often isn't the best idea. See the doc and find out why this happens so often then you'll know what you should be taking an not taking.
