the best thing to use is to drink soup with alot of hot sauce or pepper sauce because it actually sweat out the flu , but i am not saying to drown your soup in hotsauce noo take enough you could handle and a next remedy is honey is is sure to work 2 tablespoons of honey will help you and another remedy home made lemon juice and too make a duo combination lemon juice and honey it really works!!

I wish there was an alternative remedy that worked for the flu. All I know is, medically speaking all you can really do is let your body fight it.
But I've come to find that Pedia light tastes like crap, but it makes you feel better. It replaces the electorlytes that you are losing when you have the flu.

i grow up in the Caribbean and my mom always give us honey and lime .take a table spoon of honey and squeeze a fresh lime in the spoon with the honey and drink it ,you can drink this as of fen as you wish . i take a spoon of the honey every morning before i start my day .
NuHerbs puts out a line of pills called Jade Dragon. Jade Dragon includes several formulas that I believe includes a remedy for the flu. I use their Advanced Cold pill and it works great. The only thing is about this one is that you're supposed to take it right at the onset of a cold. So I suppose that may be the case for their flu pills. I bought mine at an organic grocery store; I don't think they're available in regular stores.
