Can people get high off robitussin Cough, Cold & Flu Nighttime??
Question: i read on a webpage that u can get really sick if it has any other ingredients than Dextromethorphan.
is that true?
Answers: In our state Robitussin formulations (specific one) and some others are behind the pharmacists counter and have to be asked for because they are used to make illegal drugs for highs. I don't know that you can get high off of just Robitussin itself, but I wouldn't try it if I were you. OTC meds are dangerous when taken in any way other than intended.
Alt med is not about getting high, it's about living healthy. Robitussin abuse doesn't fall in this category.

Yes you can get high off of it, and yes it can be very deadly if there are any MAIN ingredients besides DXM. Though if you take just the pure DXM, it still makes you sick, and you often throw up a lot. Take my word from experience, it's not worth it, but it does work.
