Do magnets have health benefits??
Question: Migraines, back aches, joint pain etc...
Answers: I have never used magnetric therapy; so I have no first hand experience with them, A friend has a magnetic belt, and she says they help her back pain.
There is no scientific or medical evidence that they confer any benefits at all. Nor do copper bracelets. Or apricot pits. Nonetheless, you will always find people to testify to any cockamamie theory...which only goes to show that most healing takes place in the brain.
Yes I think they help and my mother wears them every day for her arthritis and feel that they work. They make magnet insole, mattress pads, bracelets, necklaces, rings and much more some are very inexpensive. Give them a try it's the only way you'll know if they work for you or not. Copper is also another item that works on joint pain, etc. also available in jewelry, but they also have some supplementation with copper for joint care. Try using supplements with MSM, Chondrotin, Glucosamine. Healthier You makes a product called Mobility Support that helps me a great deal with knee, hip, etc. pain.
Good Luck
yes, I think
There have been some studies that magnets can be helpful for some conditions, but not for others, but there is nothing conclusive on this and it could all be the placebo effect.
I don't believe in the theory that magnets have health benefits - not only has this been disproven in the medical community but I know three people who have tried using magnets to ease joint pain, especially arthritic pain. I suggest consulting your physician and, once you have his/her approval, do some light exercise. Exercise is know to build bone and joint strength. Good luck
I am not sure if they will help your conditions, but you can try, I use magnetic necklace to increase my strength levels when I am working, also to reduce pain and swelling in my angle. I would also try calcium, glusomaine sulfate with msm and condratin this should help and exercise when your pain levels go away. A good neck massage where the bone meets the back of the neck should take away the pain of your migraine also.
For what it's worth, the horse racing industry swear by them, now, i'm pretty sure you can't tell a horse that it is wearing something that will make it feel better, it either would or would not, and it does.
What they actually do is increase the efficientcy of the circulation which has a knock on effect to the rest of the body.
No, they don't they just make thiings worse, for you.
